I have 3 drives set up as RAID with Lifetime Acronis Disk Director Version. For whatever reason I had to remove the 3rd drive from the RAID array and reinstall it using DD12. When booting it would show me the MDT error screen. When I tried to boot DD12 from my laptop it would show the “Error = FFFFFFFF – Drive not found. Who Uses Acronis Disk Director and Why Is It Important?
So, after using Acronis Disk Director for disk cloning, I’ve decided to move to Disk Director 11.1.7 isofile, or whatever version. I’ve tried several times to clone to this drive with DD11 trial with no success. In the mean time, one of the external drives managed to copy to a different drive. I finally get the error message, “the original file has been moved or deleted”. I reboot the system and DD11 is still gone. I can still run it from the Windows recovery, and it seems to run ok, but it’s been missing for awhile and is not listed. I’d like to see if it’s possible to get it back. Apparently I can go to the server, I’ve been in the Acronis software for over an hour trying to get DD11 back. It’s not listed and I can’t get to the server. Can anyone help? Can anyone suggest a way to get DD11 back?
